DELOITTE LLP and ALL ITS PARTNERS/MEMBERS REMOVED FROM REGISTER OF PERSONS ELIGIBLE TO ACT AS STATUTORY AUDITORS (s1239 Companies Act 2006)

TAKE NOTE
On 16 August 2022 the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (“ICAEW”) removed Deloitte llp AND all its partners/members from the Register of Statutory Auditors.
Following decades of breaches of Companies Act 2006 by Deloitte llp and failure to notify ICAEW of changes in members/partners, and ICAEW by its own admitted gross negligence of multiple breaches of the 2016 Delegation Agreement with The Financial Reporting Council Limited (see QB-2021-003636), has ICAEW finally administered the ultimate sanction against Deloitte llp – removal from the Register of persons/firms eligible to conduct Statutory Audits?
